EGG-EATER GRENDELS of Grendel Man

If you're looking for a little bit more realism in your Creatures game, the Egg-Eater grendels might be for you. In the real world, many eggs don't make it to the hatching stage, falling prey to predators and the environment. And they don't wait to hatch forever, as creature eggs do.

The diet of the Egg-eater grendel consists of creature eggs. However, creature eggs are not normally edible in the game, which is what the purpose of the included .cos files are for. When they are installed, eggs will gain an eat script, and all eggs lain by the Norn Egg Layer, the Grendel and Ettin egglayers, and pregnant female norns will all be edible.

The grendels themselves are not aggressive normally. In fact, a few smacks from a hardman or any other creature can send them packing. However, nonetheless, they can still impact the norn population by feasting on their eggs. Actually, it's a good idea to move any egg lain by a pregnant female immediately, lest she turn around and eat her own egg. To compensate for this occasional scenario, they are fairly fast breeders.

It's a good idea to keep these grendels around other fast-breeders, so that the egg supply isn't diminished quickly. However, should eggs be significantly lacking, they can eat seeds and fruit just like any other creature.

Egg-eater grendels use the sprites of the Creatures 3 Grendel (Grendel A).

Installion: Put the .agents file into your "My Agents" folder to produce Egg-eater grendels with the Norn Egg Layer in Creatures 3, or Muco in Docking Station. The .cos files go into either your "Bootstrap/001 World" folder, or your "Bootstrap/010 Docking Station" folder, depending on if you use Creatures 3 or Docking Station.

Ask first before hosting the Egg-eater pack on your own site, please.
